Thousands of tourists flock to Sun World Ha Nam - the new 'heat relief' paradise in the North

From the very first opening hours, a large number of visitors lined up, ready to immerse themselves in the modern and novel entertainment space of Sun World Ha Nam – the first water park in Vietnam with a water puppet theme. On this occasion, all Sun World Ha Nam employees also wore uniforms bearing the colors of the national flag to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South, the reunification of the country (30/4/1975-30/4/2025).

Although attracting thousands of visitors on the first day of opening, the operation and visitor service of Sun World Ha Nam are ensured to the maximum quality. “The deployment of security and safety for visitors is ensured with the best quality because we have practiced, trained, and prepared thoroughly before putting the park into operation. Key personnel such as rescue, customer care, ticketing, food and beverage… are all highly qualified, well-trained individuals with experience at other water parks in the Sun World system such as Phu Quoc, Ha Long… Local personnel are also trained to ensure professional service to visitors from the very first days” – Mr. Nguyen Xuan Chien – Vice President of Sun Group Northern Region shared.

On the first day of opening, the number of visitors from Ha Nam to the water park reached 75%. Currently, the park is implementing a special promotion program for local people and residents of the Sun Urban City resort with a ticket price of only VND 135,000/person (applicable to both children and adults) from April 30th to May 15th. The ticket price for visitors from other provinces is VND 300,000 for adults and VND 250,000 for children from April 30th to September 3rd, 2025.

The atmosphere of the park on the first day of opening was bustling, filled with laughter and cheers as visitors explored and experienced the modern and novel games. Cooperating with Proslide – a leading global water entertainment brand, the park owns 40 slides and 14 modern and attractive game complexes. “I am very proud that my hometown has such a modern water park. The ticket price of VND 135,000 is very reasonable. The park is modern, the games are diverse, my whole family played all day without getting bored. Next time we will try to visit the park in the evening.”- Mr. Nguyen Hung (Ly Nhan, Ha Nam) shared.

The most attractive game for visitors is the 228.22m long parallel tube slide, appearing for the first time in Southeast Asia. Visitors are extremely excited to experience the thrilling speed race with friends and relatives.

In addition, the park owns dozens of other modern, high-class games such as: High-speed whirlwind, Speed vortex, Phoenix curve, Aerial vortex, Converging vortex, Colorful slide, Mystery tunnel…, bringing wonderful relaxing moments for both adults and children.

“Just over 1 hour's drive from Ha Noi to Ha Nam, my whole family experienced an international-standard water park. The super cool parallel racing slide, while the lazy river and wave pool are where my kids love the most. My family will definitely come back here during the summer.” - Mr. Hoai Nam from Ha Noi shared.

Most children are very excited and enthusiastic about the games in the park, and are reluctant to go home.

In particular, the park also attracts tourists with its unique architecture inspired by the art of water puppetry - a genre that once had a golden past in Noi Roi Village (Ly Nhan, Ha Nam). The game areas are designed to simulate the themes of famous Water Puppet shows such as: Four Spirits, Boat Race, Catching ducks… with cultural features such as: temple roofs, bamboo trees, Dong Ho paintings…, creating a vivid picture blending Vietnamese traditional culture and modern technological games. “I really like this park because of its unique and impressive architecture and decoration. Children coming here not only have fun but also discover and learn about Vietnamese folk culture. This is very meaningful” - Ms. Ngoc Minh, a tourist from Ha Noi excitedly expressed.

Located 50km from Ha Noi capital and only 3km from Phu Ly city center, Sun World Ha Nam Water Park is located inside the Sun Urban City urban area and is one of the 5 theme parks of the urban area that will officially open on May 10, promising to become an attractive entertainment focal point for tourists this summer and in the coming time.

With a total area of 14.2 hectares, Sun World Ha Nam Water Park will initially operate Phase 1 projects on an area of 10 hectares, with a designed capacity of 6,500 people per day on average and a maximum hourly capacity of 19,000 people.
